We are going to try this blogging thing and see how it goes!
Terry and I got a referral of a beautiful baby boy from Guatemala on Oct. 19. Julio Daniel Gonzales y Gonzales was born on July 31 and is currently in a foster home. At his 2 month check up, he weighed about 8 lbs. 2 oz and was about 52 cm long. He also got his first set of shots! yuck! We are so excited to have this addition to our family.
Now to start another leg of the paperwork. We have gotten the embassy letter and poa notarized and sent to Richmond for state seals. Found out that our embassy letter needs to be redone along with 2 other government forms....will get them done this week and send with POA when it arrives from Richmond. Hopefully DNA will be done by the end of November. After that we will be able to visit Guatemala and meet our little fella!
Will post as info changes. We are still playing around with name combinations....some form of Taylor Daniel will probably be the choice. Who knows it could totally change! Please continue to keep our angel, his birthmother and his foster family in your prayers. Thanks for following our journey!
