Happy 2007!

Happy 2007! Can't believe the holidays are over and we are finally in the new year! This should be a year of big changes for us! It's hard to believe that exactly one year ago, we made the decision to explore adoption. This is the date we attended our first adoption meeting!

I can't believe it's been almost a month since my last post. Needless to say not much is happening. We've gotten stuck in the dna mess. Still waiting on that authorization! We have contacted our congressman and senator; hopefully that will help. They have both been very responsive. Think we are in family court; just waiting on the interview with the birth mother. Maybe the gates will open next week after MLK day. We pray daily that this will happen.

Our friends Marcie, Brent, Kalley and Caleb will be visiting Karina in 2 weeks! They are nice enough to take 2 bags of things for us. I have done some shopping and would love to do more. I'm trying to control myself which is hard!!

Anyway, these are new pictures of barber baby! He is 13 pounds and is 60 cm long. He turned 5 months on Dec. 31. He's starting to look like a person and not a baby!! Can't wait to get my hands on him!
