Whew!

It's been a long week!! Taylor went for his 18 month well child visit that was also a sick visit! (he actually was 19 months last Friday!) Anyway, he is getting over another ear infection and has a terrible cold. What a nasty nose little ones can have!! Our doctor's appointment went well. No shots on this visit--those will come at his 2 year appt in July! The doc thought Taylor was doing fine. Taylor now weighs 25 pounds 9 oz and is 30.8 inches long. Needless to say, he is a shorty!! He seemed a bit concerned about his lack of talking but that doesn't concern me at this point. He's just been home a little over 4 months!! I think he's doing well to be saying the words he says. He seems to say something new every few days. His favorite word is still "ba" for ball and balloon. Those are his two favorite toys. He continues to run all over the place and climb our stairs. He loves to read books and bathtime is his favorite part of the day. Taylor is cutting his bottom 2 year molars so he hasn't been so happy this week. In fact, he's been pretty clingy--which is unusual. He actually sat in my lap for about 30 minutes Friday night and watched TV. The boy never sits still that long!!

We are waiting for the warm weather to arrive and stay so we can play outside more. We actually went to the park last Sunday and Taylor had a blast. Am sure that will be one of our hangouts this summer!!

In other news, since we won't be bringing home a daughter (or another son) from Guatemala any time soon...we have decided to sponsor a child to go to school in Guatemala. We found out about Gerson through Mayan Families. It's a wonderful organization that does lots of good work in Guatemala. We are excited to help Gerson be able to attend school. I will post his picture and try to post his bio!

We hope that everyone has a good week! I will try to post pictures during the week. I've not been such a good photographer lately. Taylor has been "on the move" too much!!

Yes, it's hard to get pictures of little ones who are on the move. I have so many of the back or the side of Karina!
We will have fun at the park this summer with the little ones!!!
